We ran a studio first.
Then we built the software.
Shootistan is made by PICKYOURPIC PRIVATE LIMITED — a real wedding photography company from Prayagraj, India.
Our story
PickYouPic started in 2018 as a wedding photography studio. Over eight years we shot more than 2,500 weddings across Prayagraj, Lucknow and beyond — and lived every problem a studio faces: enquiries lost in personal phones, dates double-booked, payments tracked in notebooks, and albums delivered months late.
We tried the popular tools. They were built for other countries — single-day shoots, card payments, email-first clients. Indian weddings are nothing like that. Five functions across three days, a dozen crew members, advance-heavy payments, and clients who live on WhatsApp.
So we built our own system and ran our studio on it every day. That system grew into Shootistan. Now we are opening it to every photography studio in India — starting with a small pilot group we work with personally.

Four things we will not compromise on
Phone first
Studio work happens on the move. If a feature is not easy on a phone, it is not done.
Your data is yours
Studio data is isolated at the database level, backed up daily, and exportable any time.
Simple over clever
Plain English, clear screens, no training manuals. Your newest team member should get it in a day.
Built with studios
Every pilot studio talks directly to the founders. Real feedback shapes every release.

"I built the tool I searched for and never found."
"For years I watched my team juggle notebooks, spreadsheets and WhatsApp chats. Good enquiries died in silence. Payments slipped through. I looked for software that understood how an Indian studio works — and could not find it."
"Shootistan is that software. We use it in our own studio every single day. If it does not save your team time this wedding season, tell me personally — my email is on every page of this site."
